Fromagerie Marie Kadé is a plant that makes Mediterranean specialty cheeses. We are a family business that has operated this plant for over 30 years. We produce a wide variety of cheeses, natural yogurt and pressed yogurt. Fromagerie Marie Kadé began operations with artisanal production, but has managed to modernize over the years while maintaining its authenticity. Each type of cheese product is carefully handled to ensure the production of better quality cheese. We use 100% Canadian pasteurized milk to produce our unripened cheeses. La Fromagerie Marie Kadé sells to traders and distributors throughout the province of Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Cheese
Marie Kadé cheeses are an excellent source of calcium and are the best complement to a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and mint leaves. In addition, they are popular in salads, sandwiches, and with many other food combinations.

Yogurt
Yogurt at Marie Kadé has incredible texture and a delicious taste. It has a good source of healthy bacteria known as probiotics. Our yogurt is exceptional on its own but is also good with oatmeal, smoothies, salad dressings, marinades and other recipes.

Mixed variety
Marie Kadé also offers two different kinds of processed cheese, Kiri and The Laughing Cow. They both provide essential vitamins and calcium with a creamy, and quality taste. Besides processed cheese, Marie Kadé offers Samneh, which is clarified butter that is used in Arabic recipes and sweets.

Akawi

Unripened soft cheese. It contains 57% moisture and 22% fat. It is a rather neutral cheese, often accompanied with vegetables and put on a slice of bread, in paninis, or even roasted on the stove.
Mix
4 X 2KG OR 1 X 8KG
It is a mixture of homemade cheeses. Its use is similar to that of mozzarella cheese. It is a grated cheese used on pizzas, panini or pasta.
Slab
VACUUM PACKED (2KG)
Unripened semi-firm cheese. It contains 48% moisture and 27% fat. It is a cheese used in the preparation of Mediterranean pastries, such as in knéfé, halewet el jibn, etc. It is also the cheese used to create the twisted cheese.
Istambouli
VACUUM PACKED (5KG/10KG) PAIL (10KG)
Unripened semi-firm cheese. It contains 45% moisture and 30% fat. It is a type of feta, delicious to serve in salads.
Twisted

Unripened firm cheese. It contains 52% moisture and 22% fat. It is twisted from the slab cheese and contains kolongi seeds. It is an ideal cheese for a wine/cheese evening or simply to taste in its original form.
Syrian

Unripened semi-firm cheese. It contains 50% moisture and 25% fat. It is a rather salty cheese, very good to serve in paninis.
Shinglish (spicy)
VACUUM PACKED (5KG/10KG)
Unripened firm cheese. It contains 30% moisture and 42% fat. It comes in the form of a dry ball covered with spices. It is a cheese that is eaten by crumbling it and combining it with olive oil, parsley and tomatoes, in order to savour it as a salad.
Vachekaval
VACUUM PACKED (5KG/10KG)
Unripened firm cheese. It contains 39% moisture and 31% fat. It’s a sweet and slightly creamy cheddar type, very good for a wine / cheese evening or to use for a raclette party.
Baladi
VACUUM PACKED (5KG/10KG) PAIL (10KG)
Unripened soft cheese. It contains 57% moisture and 22% fat. This cheese is very similar to the akawi cheese, but with a different shape and can also be eaten in sandwiches or paninis.
Espagnol
PAIL (12KG)
Unripened soft cheese. It contains 60% moisture and 18% fat. It is consumed fresh with pita bread.
Halloum
VACUUM PACKED (5KG/10KG) PAIL (10KG)
Unripened semi-firm cheese. It contains 50% moisture and 25% fat. The halloum is a salted cheese. It is especially delicious when grilled on the oven or on the BBQ, cut into strips or placed on skewers with tomatoes.
Moujadalé

Unripened firm cheese. It contains 52% moisture and 22% fat. Its taste is similar to that of twisted cheese but with a different shape, and is consumed in the same way.
Naboulsie

Unripened semi-firm cheese. It contains 50% moisture and 25% fat. It contains kolongi seeds and is ideal to taste fresh in sandwiches. It is a salted cheese that can also be desalted by dipping it in cold water.
Shinglish (regular)

Unripened firm cheese. It contains 30% moisture and 42% fat. It comes in the form of a dry ball covered with spices. It is a cheese that is eaten by crumbling it and combining it with olive oil, parsley and tomatoes, in order to savour it as a salad.
Yogurt

Ayran

It contains 95% moisture and 1% fat. This is a beverage made from yogurt, salt and water. It is a very refreshing drink and is good to consume with Mediterranean pizzas, such as lahmajounnes.
Labneh

Unripened cheese with fresh paste. It contains 72% moisture and 12% fat. It is a pressed yogurt, with a very thick cream texture. It can be enjoyed by adding a bit of olive oil and consumed with crackers or pita bread, or could even be used as a dip with herbs.
